Barbara Trimble

CEO/Founder

Barbara is passionate about helping older adults maintain their dignity and live their best lives and she holds us accountable to do the same.   Barbara founded Extended Family to make sure the kind of support she didn’t see existing would be available through a full-service home care provider.  She coined the term, “Ageless Lifestyle” and truly believes that with a little work, people can experience a high quality of life as they age.  As a thought-leader, Barbara consults on a variety of topics surrounding EF’s mission of an Ageless Lifestyle.

 Mary Boucher

C.O.O /Partner

As our C.O.O, Mary has her hands in all departments at Extended Family.  Constantly striving to make things better and streamline work processes, Mary makes working at Extended Family fun.  She holds her team accountable to do their best work.  In addition, she brings her skills as a licensed clinical social worker (LICSW)  and Care Manager to the table.  She helps our members cope with psychological, emotional, social and financial challenges that come with aging.  No matter what issues one is dealing with, Mary believes in finding a way to make the best of your situation.

Bob Chaffee

VP Business Operations

Bob comes to us from the high-tech industry where he led an award-winning sales support team.   Here at Extended Family, Bob is the guy to talk to about your paycheck, expense report or referral bonus.  He gets the invoices out, gets the bills paid and keeps the insurance in order.  Bob helps us analyze our financial performance and brain storm ways to improve it.  Bob also understands the needs of older adults and can be seen from time to time giving one of them a ride, if their usual care giver can’t make it.

Mary Spaulding

Clinical Coordinator

If you are an older adult and you need an advocate, than Mary is the one you want.  Born in Limerick, Ireland, Mary knows her stuff, she knows what should be done and she will fight to make it happen.  Mary provides supervision and education to our staff and she insists that they stay at the top of their game when working with our members.  Her strong clinical skills make her an effective nurse as she supports and guides our members through their clinical challenges.

Joy Mueller

Member Services Team Leader.

Joy is someone who can keep a hundred balls up in the air and never drop one.  As a Team Leader, Joy wears many hats.  Scheduling takes up a lot of her time, but she also manages the payroll process and social media.   She is a master at pairing up the right caregiver with the right member.   She makes sure the staff understand how to follow our policies and work with our care management system. As our systems expert, Joy is constantly exploring the latest feature that will make our jobs easier.

Jeannie Rudman

Member Services Team Leader

Jeannie brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion and humor to her role as Member Services Team Leader.  She competently leads our office team in maintaining regulatory compliance, quality improvement and member satisfaction. Jeannie is responsible for hiring new staff and providing them with opportunities for professional development, through individual mentoring and staff education.

Her Boston Terrier, Jasper, Cooking (Loves Food Network!), Gardening
