CEO & Founder
Barbara is passionate about helping older adults maintain their dignity and live their best lives and she holds us accountable to do the same. Barbara founded Extended Family to make sure the kind of support she didn’t see existing would be available through a full-service home care provider. She coined the term “Ageless Lifestyle,” and truly believes that with a little work, people can experience a high quality of life as they age. As a thought leader, Barbara consults on a variety of topics surrounding Extended Family’s mission of an Ageless Lifestyle.

Bob comes to us from the high-tech industry where he led an award-winning sales support team. Here at Extended Family, Bob is the guy to talk to about your paycheck, expense report or referral bonus. He gets the invoices out, gets the bills paid and keeps the insurance in order. Bob helps us analyze our financial performance and brainstorm ways to improve it. Bob also understands the needs of older adults and can be seen from time to time giving one of them a ride, if their usual care giver can’t make it.

Jill is great at puzzles, and that's a good thing, because that's what she does all day long. Jill fits the right caregiver with the right member on the right days at the right times. She's our scheduler. She makes sure all the caregivers know where they are going, she makes sure all the members are happy with their schedules and their assigned caregivers, and she makes sure the system has all the data it needs. This job takes attention to detail and patience, and Jill has an abundance of both. It also helps that she has experience as both an LNA and a PCA, so you can feel confident she understands home care from all sides.
